What happens when your forced to take a break from crocheting !! you have to pick a new skill that’s relevant to crocheting and all things yarn ! So I did have a phase where I developed wrist pain and had to apply speed break on my crocheting . One thing we concur – is that we “Dye for Yarn” and this helped me indulge into a new therapy which is dyeing yarn and I acknowledge of being a Dye-Hard Fan. All Things for Yarn Dyeing

My experiment started in a minimalist way of picking what i had at home and trying to dye with what was available, but before i set myself to dyeing , i acknowledge that the my thumb rules were quiet firm in my mind.

I must place the caveat while we can start Yarn Dyeing as an attempt/ experimenting with yarn and natural colors this can lead into a quick addiction, so much so that everything you see around, where ever you go you will find nothing but ideas for attempting to dye. So lets get messy !

I had to experiment quiet a bit and learn – not too many resources which talk about all things that would be required to start your chemistry experiment at home.

Here is a quick list of things that would need to start your yarn dyeing journey !

I am sure all of you have access to these things at home, in addition to this having access to good heating source and shade drying source can only add zing to your the yarn you dye.
