Bibliophile – dedicating this post to some people in the community i know love to read Ananya , Jessica to name a few ! the most common trait that we tend to have to name a few are

  1. We are self involved – getting bored is not our thing
  2. Nothing called perfect time, perfect weather etc – anytime is a good time to read
  3. Cant wait for folks at home to go out for that undiluted time.
  4. Lost track of am / pm coz we had to finish that damn book
  5. Bestsellers are at our finger tips
  6. hoard books .. always wish there was more time and space
  7. Can get pissed when movies modify the facts
  8. Soooo hard to pick a Fav book – nothing like it
  9. Feel of paper overtakes a touch pad
  10. Bookmarks – is still a thing in our lives

If you do a lot of reading, you probably like using bookmarks to keep track of your place! Whether you are a student, a parent, a child,  a teacher, or someone who just loves to read, these simple bookmarks will add some fun and some convenience to your reading experience. The front of these bookmarks can be designed in any way you choose. Here, I have created a 2 versions a plain version and a fun character , you cloud even try to customize these bookmarks. These handmade bookmarks make great little gift ideas, or use the scrap yarns from your projects to something useful. I have gifted these bookmark corners to my friends – feedback from many readers that they are functional and hence tot of writing up a pattern post . I hope you like them and make them too 🙂

Lets get started on the things we need for the book mark!

Pattern Notes

The Pattern uses a simple C2C Stich, however any diagonal stitch can be used to make the bookmark i have used this stitch to add color work and some fun elements to the bookmark corner

Stitch Diagram

Now you have a cute crochet bookmark corner to give anyone who loves to read, or go ahead and keep one for yourself. one is never enough
